Configuration Files

These are some of my configuration files. They're useful to me as a reference if I'm setting up a new Unix workstation at work and can't remember the exact syntax required to get rid of, say, all those nasty colors that the Debian slrn package uses by default. :-) Feel free to use anything here in your own configuration.

Some of the lines in these files are no longer used, really.

$ ls -a
.Xresources .lynxrc .slrn.sl
.bashrc .mutt-default .vimrc
.exrc .muttrc .xinitrc
.fvwm/.fvwm2rc .profile .xsession
.fvwm/ConfigFvwmButtons .qmail
.gnomerc .qmail-spam
.inputrc .signature

(In real life, ls -a produces a whole lot more output than that. I've taken creative liberties....) Here are symlinks to a few of the little things in my ~/bin directory.

followdir was useful to me during the Freenet 0.3 days, when I wanted to watch the data store changes. spamcheck is used by my .qmail file.
