When you have downloaded the package, you should have a file named ''gnupg_1.0.1-2.deb'' (the version number may be different, but it should begin with ''gnupg_'' and end with ''.deb''). You can install this package with the command:
dpkg -i gnupg_1.0.1-2.deb
If you have downloaded a version of GPG which is incompatible with your version of Debian GNU/Linux, then you may not be able to install it.
