Installing PGP For Windows

  1. Make certain you have exited out of your email program before you proceed any further.
  2. At this point, you will need to actually open this file. Using the Windows Explorer, double-click on the file you just saved.
  3. Click the ''Next'' button until you can click the ''Install Now'' button. Click that button now.
  4. The PGP Setup program will start now. Click ''Next'' until you are asked to type in your name and your company name. As this is a non-commercial license, you should not have a company name.
  5. Click ''Next'' until you are asked which options to install. Use this table to help set your options at this point:

    Option On or Off
    PGP Key Management On
    PGPnet Virtual Private Networking Off
    PGP Eudora Plugin If you use Eudora to send email, On. Otherwise, Off.
    PGP Microsoft Exchange/Outlook Plugin If you use Microsoft Outlook (not Outlook Express) to send email, On. Otherwise, Off.
    PGP Microsoft Outlook Express Plugin If you use Microsoft Outlook Express (not Outlook) to send email, On. Otherwise, Off.

  6. Click ''Next'' until you are asked ''Do you have existing keyrings you wish to use?''
  7. Click ''No''.
  8. Click ''Finish''.
  9. Click ''Cancel''.
  10. Click on the ''WinZip'' icon on the ''Start-bar''.
  11. Click ''Next'', then ''Finish''.
